i just installed my valve and so far no issues...i does hold boost better. sound is the same (which i dont care about), no stalling issues or comp. surge...so far so good...if this doesnt work im going to aps, but for now this valve is perfect

 

its great but I think if your thinking about going big soon you better get something stronger like tial

 

is there a difference between the silver top vs. the gold top?

 

I love it, but I dont know its limits, if I was getting a larger turbo

 

Old thread, I know. I had to post though. I installed the metal IX bov today, and compared to my stock VIII one, I absolutely love it! Boost for me comes on much harder than previous, and I noticed I was hitting a 3-4psi (peak) higher than previous. That means that with my VIII bov, the turbo was working much harder to acheive the same amount of boost compared to running an IX bov. Can't wait to test it even further at the next auto-x event here...
