Yes, follow the specs that are ft-lbs. If you have a metric torque wrench, follow the N-m.

Time for install? Less than 3 hours.

You do not need a lift, I havn't had one job on my Evo yet that "needed" a lift, this includes a clutch install. A lift would make some things "easier" though.

It took me about 5-6 hours. I did it in my unheated garage and it was 20 degrees outside, so I had "warm up" breaks. I also had to run to the store for a prybar and some bolts which added about an extra hour to real install time.

Its not really big enough to torque. Use 1/4 inch ratchet, and tighten as tight as you can with it. Its a 10mm nut. I used a second lock nut on top of the original as a back up just to be safe.

Good suggestion with the second lock nut.

The torque value is not mentioned in the manual. I snugged it to about 30-40"/lbs and did the same - a second nut.

I still think the hotside was so much easier than cams

You will feel it get tight. Just make it nice and tight and you'll be fine. From stock it's not on their very tight.
