# 1. You loosen the nut and then spin the end (with the hole) down (clockwise).

#2 is the flapper arm ... the WG puck is attached to the other end of this inside of the housing. It only moves about 90º and there is no adjustment.

 

kinda having to do with the topic.. when i start to go in from being at a dead stop, i hear a little rattle type sound.. could this be the same thing or normal to all evos? help appreciated

 

Sorry, but I'm reviving this thread.

I've been trying to find out what my issue was and this appears to be it exactly. Searching all over this thread seems to be spot on.

I checked this morning and for me #1 is loose. I'm gonna fiddle tonight when I get home from work and the car has cooled.

I only hear the rattle when coasting at higher (>2700) RPMs.

 

Have you guys touched the wastegate to loosen it or did it come loose from the factory?
