Car stalls when giving slight gas on an incline..
All:
I've had this problem since I had the car and I've since then added a intake system on the car. Now of the numerous hiccups the car actually shut off on one occurence. Here's the symptoms:
If you are backing out (or going forward) of a garage and you give it slight gas and let out on the clutch a little bit, then push the clutch back in quickly and you are on an incline, the car will stall. I've narrowed it down to it only doing this when the coolant fan comes on. Somehow, something is causing it to stall. It's intermittant even when the fan is on. It won't do it all the time.
Has anyone else had this problem?

sorry, you're just getting lean spots below 3400 rpm because of your intake isn't tuned.
intake gives you lean spots or leans out at idle or start.
your stoich level is gone.
it's either that or you're running too rich.

It may have something to do with the MAF sensor.. I'm not sure.. but it doens't happen in normal stop-n-go traffic. And the fan coming on is a must to reproduce the problem. This leads me to believe it's something else.

I had this problem..It was the BOV causing it. put the stocker back in plus i changed the plugs and it completely stopped. I couldnt tell you which was the fix though.

I have the 1G BOV now and I doubt that's leaking. If it was the BOV, it would do it all the time and not just on an incline. I wonder if the MAF has to be leveled properly. Hmm...
