car is stalling what could it be?

I just got some hks 280's installed and when i shift in the upper rpms more or less at redline my car seems to stall and bog for a split second then goes. I was wondering if it might be fuel cut and has anyone else encountered this when they got cams installed, also i had a custom tune done before the cams and i am going to get my ecu flashed for the cams do you think this might fix the problem?

I had the same problem. Its probably a combination of fuel cut with boost cut. You lost alot of vacuum when you installed them (i went from around 20 to around 11) The loss in vacuum could have resulted in a more sensitive boost output from an MBC or EBC. I turned my boost down and it solved the problem. Seems like the 280s really push the octane limitations as far as boost tolerance goes. A flash will definetely help the problem and will HOPEFULLY add more fuel down low for you to help the stalling problems at idle.

just lowered the boost to 18 and the whole stalling issue is not there when shifting.

The problem came back last night after it went away after the tune, i did notice that up top my boost began to drop to 18 or 17lbs compared to when i go it tuned and it help all the way to 20lbs. I checked my bov and when i took it apart the spring seemed alot softer since the last time i took it off and i put 2 metal shims in it and the problem went away once again and i was able to hold boost at 20lbs til redline.
