Yeah it stuttered as usual... but like I said only once. Without the creader, it would have continued to stutter/light up the CEL repeatedly until it decided it was done pissing me off.

sorry guys didnt want to scroll through pages and pages of posts but is this an early model problem. I have an 05MR and was curious if it was resolved before the 05's came out???

Someone with an '05 just posted that they had the issue, and I've seen 05's with this issue at idle as well.

I thought the problem was completely solved with the advent of the 6spd transmission in the US, but apparently not.

ive got an 05 and had 0 issues for 10k miles. I had cams, fuel pump and head studs installed along with a dyno tune, 30 miles later p0300. the shop said to go with a one step colder plug and if that didnt solve the problem they would reflash the car. Ive had the code come on 3 times so far and its right when I start the car. The car seems to drive fine though, no stuttering, who knows.

i had the po300 code with a driveablity issue and mitsu kept reflashing it and it never fixed it, so they replaced the tranny(@42000mi) and so far i have not had the code(2000mi). also if you could find someone with an evo with a flash and just borrow that computer to see if it fixes the issue

Hmmm ... I guess I have the dreaded P0300 misfire too. 2003 with 40K same symptoms.

stutters until I lift throttle. ... CEL is on.

I've had the Creader in for over 15K miles now and it has NEVER once failed me. Get it, it's a cheap solution to an annoying problem (which will get worse btw).

Try the creader, the only other solution is a non-obd ecu.

Hwang, still using it here, I get a misfire once in a blue moon but that's it, very pleased!!

Well - it does seem to be the simplest solution.

Has anybody been successful with the dealer flash?!

As of today with 8,800 miles on my 04 I have had the code twice. I will be trying different plugs. That cured the local guys problems so I am going to try the copper ngk's if it works I will follow up.
