Patient Mr. White Rabbit on operating table

I can not contain my excitement as a customer has shown up with a 2004 Evo with the White Rabbit Turbo just now for a tune

He was previously at another tuning house recently and made fairly weak power - 312 whp max

His mods are

Cone filter intake - (generic)
Walbro pump
660 Denso Injector
Greddy BOV
3" Exhuast
Hallman mbc

Stock cams and fmic

Reflash

Soon I will have his base line dyno sheet

I would settle for anything over 35 more whp on pump w/ stockish spool. It would be worth it to me then. That's about the increase I get with my race gas map.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but i have no conclusion for you yet - only more data

Basically the car was running 23 psi and it was tuned fairly well

The a/f and ignition timing was spot on

I saw NO NEED to retune as I can not in good faith take money from someone to tune a car that is already tuned in the ball park

The car was tuned on 93 octane with 23 psi of boost falling slightly to 21

The results on this car are poor. The customer is very disatisfied with the power he is making.

I suggest a boost leak test and compresion test to see if his car is healthy. The mechanics here are all leaving for the day so we can not go further with this car today.

This dyno test can draw no conclusions about the turbo as the car may have boost leaks and it may have a bad engine.

All i can say is the power is low.

JUST TO BE CLEAR - I did NOT tune this car - it has the flash tune from another tuner still in it - we DID NOT touch the boost controller - we dynoed it as it left the other tuner

312 whp is weak but if this is the car that TT had trouble flashing, I recall he had some ignition issues. Zeus is dynoing in a couple of days so we will see. I hope this thing doesn't flop.
