that would be great to let us all know...even though in another thread eric from ams said that he could see as much of a 40whp diff in power...ill try to find the link and show you guys, but if what he said is tru i am running 100% methanol

 

I like to know if it's that big of a difference as well. Also let me know where you're buying 100% methanol

Well my biggest concern is the safety level -- I'm on stock cams so I won't be going boost crazy. I'm hoping to safely run 25 lbs ..

any place that sells vp fuels should be able to get you methanol. Luckily for me there is a perf. shop a couple miles away that will pump it into a container i bring up there.

 

why is it not good to run 100% methanol on a daily driven car?

 

What performance shop is this? Ram charger? I use to live in Warren, MI and visit my brother who's on Sterling Heights often.

 

FWIW, virtually anyone can buy tech grade (>99%) methanol from local industrial chemical suppliers. The cost is typically around $150/55gal drum.

lol no not scamchargers....although they can get it...they just don't stock it so there is like a $45 shipping charge on it...crazy.

But Lukovitch perf. at 21 & Gratiot has it, 3 miles from my house

 

I'm in suburbs of Chicago now. Hmm never heard of Lukovitch and maybe that's because it's at 21 and gratiot that's way up north . NOt sure if you ever been down to 10 mile and gratiot. My brother is the co-owner of the Thai restaurant there (now Bangkok Cusine).
