Anyone have any knowledge or experience with Pruven Racing's front mount?

Thanks,
Ethan

Personally using the Nisei and the performance gain is definately there even on stock turbo, will become even better once the 20G is bolted on. Can't beat the price, looks, or quality.

Look for befor and after results from venders/shops... . I could not find many but where I got my IC from it was show to gain HP on the dyno with little to no air blowing across it so that shows me that it flow way better than stock IC . No doubt it cools better.

Not true..

As I already said, anyone will benefit from a upgraded unit. I was doing 312whp with a Dynoflash, I changed my intercooler and because of the difference in temperature the AFR was way off and way too rich, it dyoned 260whp. After a retune I got 339.5whp, with only an intercooler upgrade!

If you change intercoolers, you definitely need a retune. Stock intercooler is fine but if you re looking for horsepower, the intercooler is one of the most important upgrades. Just ask AL Friedman and David Buschur!

Do you have the dynocharts so I can see the torque numbers as well? When you say rich what was your starting AFR? After the retune what did your AFR change to? What oct fuel are your running?

Info would be great thanks bro!

After I installed the AMS I gained 27whp, personally I think thats amazing.

I dont agree with people that say you dont need a intercooler upgrade with stock turbo, in a hot weather like Puerto Rico it makes a huge difference, the stock unit is not very efficient in a weather like this and we see huge gains when upgrading, I have a friend that installed his fmic as his first mod, and it really works.

In our weather a fmic upgrade is a must, and in other weathers I am sure you will still see gains.
i can't stand this... everyone says that nisei hasn't done testing when in fact they are the ONLY intercooler maker that has done ANY testing, independant and doing it themselves. rob or myevostore and mark gt40 have posted up data and graphs on what happened from pull to pull, not on a dyno but in real life.

ams just runs a quarter mile and everyone believes them. and that's fine too, but don't say something else that isn't true.

I'd have to agree with people having already posted very promising real world data using the Nisei. From all the "research" that I have done, it seems to be "where it's at" from the data posted here in these forums. However, I take that, in and of it's self, with a grain of salt. When the name calling is all said and done though, I don't think anyone is going to feel they have mis-spent their money on this unit.

I have the dynocharts but need to scan them! but my torque in the 312whp pass was 313trq, after the intercooler it was 340whp and 320trq, Al said I may have a small boost leak. Ill check that later! Could be true because my bodyshop installed the intercooler and I saw the connections and I dont like how they installed them, but they installed it with the bumper off so now I have to do the same to fix it because all the bolts on the clamps are facing forward! But the intercooler was the only thing I changed.

I dont have AFR, it was tuned by Dynoflash and you know that Al doesnt give you all that info, just a handshake and a Dynochart!

But I also can tell it was very rich in the first pull with the new intercooler, after we removed the foot from the gas the car was making "pop corn" After Al fixed the AFR it just sounded soo much better!

I really havent seen anything that can convince me about the Nisei, I would like to see a direct comparison against a AMS or Buschur! I prefer to go with whatever the Pros use!

Of course you will see a gain from any bigger intercooler! What I want to see is how much!

I got another 27-28whp on my car with the AMS. Another friend of mine tuned that day and he had the ssautochrome intercooler, he bought it from Ebay for $340 plus shipping including an Upper Intercooler Pipe and a Tial BOV! Can you believe it??? And he made around 19whp more with just the intercooler! Thats amazing for that price, my AMS was more than double the price! What I mean is, any Intercooler Upgrade will help! How much, thats another story!

I wanna see some real comparisons!
