I bleed right pumped right back up. But the tick comes and goes without warning. It is normal.

 

I bleed right pumped right back up. what? you might have a deffective lifter, there is a lash problem, or there is oil starvation somewhere.. ticking is not normal, thats like saying really loud injectors or a fuel pump is ok...

 

Tapping, knocking, thumping, etc is not normal (I hope others don't think I implied that in post 29).

Some of us though, develop hypochondria over the light ticking noises in the injector areas.

Another thing, my engine also makes a faint machining-like, rolling sound near the #1 ex and int caps and slightly less on the #6 ex (CAS) cap. The sound is identical to the rest of the cam areas, just slightly louder. I would think this is normal due to what I posted earlier, but if it isn't, let me know.
