True...however when you have car A with 264's tuned by Al, and car B with 272's tuned by TT and car A has a noticeable tq advantage via butt dyno on the street its going to make you think twice.

Every evo is diff .. bov ect.. a strong evo at 21 psi .. 310 , maybe 315 ft lbs. Keep in mind every pound you go up from 21 will increase your torque alot ..

These number are from our dyno .. Cant speak for anyone else..

I know of an Evo with those mods that made 325wtq on your dyno, with the stock downpipe even...I'm sure there's more but that's the one that first comes to mind. What do you think is causing that besides the variation from car to car?

Also I have one more question...you tuned my car according to the boost guage. How can I make sure it is accurate? Should I worry that my dyno numbers might be off because of boost guage inaccuracy or should I be content that you would've picked up boost variation by knock activity while tuning?

Someone recently tested their Defi boost gauge on a compressor w/its own pressure gauge and they mirrored eachother.

Have you read the last 2 pages? No one is doughting you made more numbers, but you ever consider the fact that you will get a difference from 1 dyno to another. Only way to really check would involve going back to the original dyno. But with a custom flash from al I wouldnt be suprised if you made more numbers with the same boost.

Lol...good guess. How is he running more boost on pump gas? Is it just not knock sensitive for some odd reason?

Gary has one of those evos' ... We put his car spiking to 22-23 psi.. Tapering down. Without going too much into how i tune, you would see knock activity by about a 20whp loss , in the dyno graph. Almost like a giant step.. Gary's car always made good power and he's a great driver. His best with a slipping clutch was 12.4 .. Now with the new clutch and a new tune he's going back to the track
