HKS SSQV will only work if you have an aftermarket intake like the Injen. Get both at once and be sure not to search.

no one's helping you out right now...
this is what everyone is trying to tell you...basically, we're all tired of this question at least once a week...and unfortunately maybe fortunately this is how newbies will learn..

1. Do a search on this forum before asking any questions
2. In short you might have problems if you don't run recirulation...for more info do a search.

I thought the HKSSSQV requires more than $1500 invested in standalone engine management to work correctly on the Evo.

Get the Forge RS for $220 without searching

i just threw on my hks ssq and im running VTA and i have no idle problems, no stalling, nothing at all, you dont need $1500 invested in engine management for a bov, thats crazy.

You may not have problems, but just wait... down the line you may start to thing twice, do not run VTA!!!

Wow. That's all I can say is...wow.

You know it doesn't work, and you know you have to spend even MORE money to buy a part that masks the problem without actually fixing the real problem. You also know there are BOVs out there that DO work with no problem and that cost 1/3 the price of this one, but you're still going to get it anyway? You don't mind tossing money away unnecessarily for something that won't do anything for you even if it did work? Do you even know the point of an aftermarket BOV? Ugh...

I guess I've seen it all now. I am now officially retiring from helping newbs who ask about BOVs. I know you're all heartbroken...
