Black button on Alkycontrol control box???
The black "push-button" to the right of the blue dial (on/off). I see it, what does it do?
I have yet to see a flame out of either pipe. I thought I would by now, but I guess if I did see a fireball, the tuning would be off, correct?

If you go to that post, it turned out to be an "optical illusion" one of the 4 belts I shredded, was wrapped around the pulley, and the balancer? and all my problems were from the oil balance shaft being ON THE MARKS, but 180 degrees off!!!complete rundown on other thread about the "crankwalk"
that small black button is a "test fire" for the alky.....lets say you have it all hooked up and you are wondering if its working or what not.....hit the button at idle for a couple seconds and you should spray alky which will cause the car to run rich and stumble. you can also use it if you unhook your nozzle from your ic pipe to test fire it or drain it (assuming you don't have much left) in the reservoir. HOpe that helps

Dude that's the purge button. Please press it before you use the aleky (at idle). It tests to see if the pump is working while priming it at the same time. You should go rich at idle and ur car should stumble when u press and hold for 5-10 seconds
