Man... after reading your story I could only come to one conclusion. I am not going to blame anyone but you. If I brought my car to a shop and I saw all that going on, I would have been like "I would like to have my car back please". You had multiple chances to save your motor. Several light bulbs would have went off in my head the moment Al said to pull the car off to the side of the road. I would have someone else look at the car.

So... You made a short story long. Its funny because you write all this bad stuff about the company (Which may be true) but really who cares. He forgot a seal... did you ask him what the leak was? Did you ask him if he put a new one in or you just FIGURED he was installing a new one?

And wonderful... you got charged 10 more for a gasket than you did from someone else. Guess what, I paid $40 more for a sensor that I could have got somewhere else. I aint complaining.

And your complaining about these charges for install... Dont NORMAL people kinda ask how much something is before they buy it? I know i got the price of the Evo before I actually bought it.

Now how do you know you bought his old cam gears? Did he tell you that? If so... WHY would you pay for new ones??

And this, "I seen an AEM cd on his desk I asked him do I get one of those so he gives me an old one that has scratches on it.from out of his desk." What the hell CD and what point was that? Awesome... you got a CD!

Heres another Jewel, "My car had the same amount of 93 oct. and race gas as he tuned it that day at the shootout. " LOL... so you drained the whole tank and measured out x gallons of 93 and x gallons of C16? Which brings me to another great one:

Who are these few tuners? I dont know of one tuner that would say turn up the boost but DONT change any of your fuel/timing tables. And also... DONT LOG any of it and make sure you dont look at the AFRs or anything while running. LOL.

Sorry bud, Not trying to defend this Nick character... I dont know him and could give a ***** less about the guy or what he does. But you man... you have got an excuse for everything.

Again.... if you knew all these terrible things about big Nick... WHY would you have anything to do with the guy? Why ask him to tune your car? Why not confront him about buying new parts that turned out to be used? Why not say something BEFORE you killed the motor? Who knows... maybe Nick screwed you two ways from Sunday. That still doesnt change the fact that YOU raced it, YOU destroyed it. It is an EMS... ANYONE should be smart enough to know you cant just toss it in and cruise around, crank the boost and be ok without changing anything else. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to know that by simply raising the boost and not doing anything else... probably will destroy something.

This is my outlook of your little bs timeline:

You paid Nick some cash to put some parts in your car.
You were too stupid to ask what the prices were and didnt care about them.
You had a problem with your exhaust and got it fixed. (God forbid you actually try to locate a problem BEFORE you drive it around for a month and get it towed a few times).
You raced the car with knock control on and it was slow
You got knock control turned off and it was fast (Generally people would start to think right about now.....)
You talked to SUPER TUNER dudes and they told you to crank your boost.
You did and ran slightly faster (Probably destroying something at the same time)
You talked with Big Al that told you how to do whatever, then you switched to stock ECU
Then you decided since you had SUCH a great experience with the EMS before at the track you my as well do it all over again so you put it back in... (I assume cranking the boost to the same level as before...)
Now considering the tune was for xx boost, you ran it at xx+5 because super tuner dudes told you that makes your car faster... the tune (Whether crappy or not) wasnt even for that boost level but your too idiotic to think of that so you do anyways.
Motor goes kaput and you blame big Nick.

So I suppose if there are any other ingenious people out there... If you have a custom tune for xx boost... by RAISING the boost beyond what the car was tuned for will most likely result in a damaged car. I thought that was kinda obvious but apparently there are people stupid enough to believe that. So I say again, if your car is tuned for 20 psi DONT run it at 26 just because you mixed some C16 in the tank. May not work out so well for ya.

The other big lesson to learn here is you should probably ASK how much something costs BEFORE doing it. Whenever I buy crap for my car I generally know what the price is BEFORE doing it.... I could care less whether it says removal of rear junk in the truck = $50... as long as I know the quoted price and I like it. They can make the reciept say whatever they god damned well please and Im still a happy camper.

If... if this is all true, you could have a legal case on your hands. IF you choose to go that route, I would seriously consider asking a mod to delete this thread and talk to a lawyer.

Yes, you're a moron, but that still doesn't give a business the right to take advantage of you. I still believe you made quite a few mistakes, but obviously you see that now and I hope you've learned your lesson.

So god can program self-adapting algorithms and codes specially made to take into consideration every dynamic variable involved in tuning, self monitor and log them, and progressively change in order to meet every car's needs no matter what car?

Well, Well, Well. I have sat idle for some time now listening to this garbage.
I have had conversations with you, ex employess, vendors etc.
This now has gotten out of hand.
I guess its time for someone to hear our side and the truth at that.
First off lets talk about my "ex employees".
Briefly as I have legal implications in the works so it is difficult to get into alot all of the issues at hand. But here it goes.
The short version is that we were a group of three partners and One employee that was trying to buy his way in. After some time had pasted, I found parts missing, deposits weren't being made, monitary obligations weren't being met etc.
So I restructured the company.
LET THEM ALL GO.
In the mean time business bank accounts were being emptied by "unnamed individuals"
Again I can't for legal reasons go into too much.
Just enough to let you know why this is happening today.
They have made it their mission to ruin the company, and anyone who is invloved with us.
BUT we continue to thrive. This makes them very angry.
So when your particular issue came up CHRIS Philly evo, they jumped on you.

This is all quite interesting now.
To this day we have not had ONE COMPLAINT. Ever!! By any of these supposed ripped off individuals.
EVER.
But thats OK, its still not enough.
I have helped every single person I have come in contact with from DAY ONE. Never asked for a dime.

But forget that Chris, because you don't need to take my word for it. You have already made up your mind.

Lets move on to your dilema.

Lets talk about the HKS cam gears. You specifically sat in my office and made a list with me of the items you wanted installed.
The cam gears were one of them. You SAID I can get them for XX dollars. I matched the price and you bought them from us.
NO ONE CONVINCED YOU OF ANYTHING.
You wanted an AEM EMS. You wanted an estimate for one with a UEGO. I wrote all this down on your first Estimate/RECEIPT!!. That you claim you have. The AEM w/out WB ( AND I REALLY COULD CARE LESS WHAT AEM THINKS AT THIS POINT if they get mad for posting this) cost for me at the time that you bought it was 1500 and change. Then overnight shipping to have it in time for you. That equals $1620.
The unit with WB I told you was $1900 cost to me. If you don't beleive me ask David Buschur. When I was in Ohio the weekend of his DSM shootout I had to by one at that cost for myself. You opted out of the WB because you were to be tuned with one on the DYNO. So if you look at your receipt when you picked up the car WHAT DOES IT SAY IN BOLD!!!! You bought an AEM EMS WITH NO WIDEBAND.
So you were pleased to save a few bucks at the time.
But no the story is very different now.
Thats Fine.

Next, This is the guy that comes to the shop to pay for his bill and asks for a discount for two reasons. Number one because he is a cop and number two because YOU brought T shirts to the shop with "Silly Tuner Trix are for Kids"
Now who had the problem Chris. I made it very well known that I did not have love for TT, But since then squashed the problem.
But you continue to distort the truth.

Next,
Your time table and rambling about cutting rotors and going to CT. just hurts my brain so I will skip that.

Next, You want to tinsult me about strapping a car onto the dyno? Are you serious Chris. Third party info is being spewed in this post so I won't even comment on such nonsense.


Then you make this little comment.
Well it is now around 5:00pm and my car is still not done so I had to call out of work that day. Well we finally get my car on the dyno he puts in 100% water in the alky kit my car hits 351 whp on the Mustang dyno. Then it gets corrected to 345whp He said bring the car back and we will retune it with the alcohol. I said ok. Then he says don’t forget to post on the forum but post the higher numbers they like to see high numbers. I was like OK.
Now anyone who nows me and has had there car tuned by me would know this is total horsesh1t. I don't even know how to comment to something like this.

You know what. I am wasting my time with your post.
So let me say this instead.
This is a sad thread. You are an individual that has been manipulated by many people. First and for most AL from DYNOFLASH.
You offered him some free "trix are for kids" Tshirts and he flashed you for free.
Thats nice. You bragged about it. I laughed. No harm done. BUT when this whole EcuTek **** happened with the EVO9 he lost his mind. Why? He didn't tune the first one. BOO F'in HOO. So he starts a problem with us. Again childish ****.
He comes to you and tells you we blew up your engine blah blah.
Your engine blew because of abuse, negligence and the fact that it was tired. Simple. The tune, along with all my tunes are on the money. For months you never had a problem. But you only tell half the story about your adventure at the track huh? There were more people there Chris, don't forget that. They saw what you did. So lets see if you will be man enough to admit it, rather than blaming me.
In 9 years I haven't had a car come back to me for a BAD TUNE as you suggest. But yours must have been special.
Second, My former business partners. I don't even know what to say to or about them. They are jealous individuals that were caught defrauding a company. They were fired and that is all. Maybe when all is said and done in court we can have a lengthy discussion about it. They have contacted everyone I deal with and badmouthed me. BUT they will not succeed. I treat my customers with respect and dignity.
I am always there DAY AND NIGHT. 24/7 to help them in any way I can.
We have a name for ourselves because we have the best customer support you can get. Period.
We put our heart and our soul in what we do. We do not have a care in the world for money or glory. We are just a few guys that LOVE THIS ****!!. And for you to come on here to try to take that away from me hurts more than it ever will finacially.
It has never and will never be about money Chris. So you will never understand.
You just keep going with your bashing, lyning and your negativity. I made a pledge to you to always help you no matter what. I considered you a friend then and still today. That will not change. But my frined you have been corrupted.

It is a shame that I would even have to say something like that, but some people will stop at NOTHING to destroy you no matter the cause.
