Angry Again!!!

My water pump blew again i think!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!! Last night i was driving and i see the temp gauge going up, i pop the hood and theres coolant everywhere. I know theres a tsb out for this and supposedly has a new part number with a new pump to take care of the problem. Im gona have the car towed to the dealer tomorrow, btw mitsu road side sucks ***!! Last time they didnt want to tow the car bc of my cf lip so i ended up paying $60 for my friends tow service to take it to the dealer. If the wp fails a 3rd time, im gona lemon law the car and get a Evo IX

Are you sure the water pump is the issue or is it a side effect of an issue elsewhere?
Losingcoolant or burning through oil much?

If it's the head gasket, a few symptoms may be present. First, check for discoloration of fluids (light/milky oil or darker coolant).
My thought is that you may have pressure leaking from the cylinders into oil/coolant...
You can check to see/hear if there are bubbles in the oil/coolant expansion tank with car idling...
Don't get too discouraged, maybe something simple... If you continue to see multiple failures with the same part, it's like symptomatic of something. This type of blow by is my uneducated guess.

Fortunately, Mitsu was smart with factory radiators, they only have one seem, ergo with blow by into the coolant lines, the weak link is the WP...

how much boost are you running? If your running alot of boost, then it's easy to push exhaust gases through the head gasket then poof... there goes the cooling system.

Just checked the oil and it looks normal. The coolant also looks normal color too.

spikes to 23.5 then drops to 20-18psi

chrisw has a great point which I neglected. It could be happening under high boost conditions (boost leak into coolant lines). Can you manually reduce your boost? Is it happeneing more on cold days vs. hot days?
Have you replaced the head gasket?
Are you losing coolant at all when the WP appears intact?

Well it happened almost 3 months ago and it was hot weather. It was cold last night when it happened. The car drives fine so i dont think the head gasket is blown

You know, now that you mention about the coolant. Everytime i have shut off the car for the last few months, i can smell coolant and never thought of it bc i figured it was the smell of the coolant from the 1st time when it went all over the car inside. So i think it has been leaking coolant, but never seen any coolant on the ground at all..

When it's cold out, you will run higher boost levels. Or at least, your turbo is running much more efficently than in hot weather. So IMHO, your head gasket is nearly toast because it sounds like you are stretching your head bolts (try searching on this). At 23 psi on pump gas you are pushing that poor motor pretty hard. Quite honestly, I am not surprised that you are having problems.

You're burning it brother!
Turn on the fan all the way, see if you smell it or your eyes burn (only for 30 secs is necessary). This will indicate if it's inside or outside the motor.
If it's inside, chrisw is correct... you need to replace the headgasket and upgrade to ARPs.
