so i just replaced my spark plugs (not a big deal) but after i start the car i hear a high pitch whistling noise but its sort of faint enough not to pin point it over engine noise. I check the belts and things, but i cant figure it out. When i shut my car off (turbo time counted down) and the fan kept running for a second i still heard it but it cant be the fan making a high pitch noise right?

anyone else have this sort of experience?

.....it almost sounds like boost spooling but a little higher pitched

 

Could be anything. Vaccuum leak, fan rubbing on something, belt noise, etc. Trying using your ears to to pinpoint the location of the noise. These problems are usually pretty hard to track down but if you just listen for a while you should be able to discern where its coming from.

 

but the thing is i jsut noticed it after plug replacement
