it depends on how bad you glazed it. If it's really bad I recommend against getting flashed because that will only make matters worse.

It is toast. The clutch should mostly recover in a manner of a minute or two. My guess is that you cooked the material off and warped the flywheel to the point where you are now on the stops that won't allow the pressure plate to grab any longer. If that is the case, you will be slipping like mad in no time at all. It is not a gradual decline as it is with most cars.

You need to test it by hammering the gas at about 3500-4000RPMS and see if it slips. I don't know what gear you should use, but Warr does.

Top gear, which provides the most load. Start at 3k rpm, though.

I doubt the clutch is fine. My ACT started slipping in 5th/6th gear on the way home from my last track event, and now a week later, I can't even boost in 2nd gear. Time for an Exedy!

Traitor! Just kidding.

I would like to check out that clutch and flywheel when it comes out if you don't mind since you have already given so much feedback on it. Can you send it to me?

I can send it to you if you provide me an address and payment info. Should I just send COD?

For the record, here is what the clutch endured and how long it lasted:

- 9500 miles
- 9 months
- 100+ drag strip launches (5500rpm+)
- 90% of those launches were 1.75 60' or better and 12.3s ETs or better with 108mph or better
- 40+ autocross runs (90% were full drag launches)
- 250mins of full bore road course action
- required three adjustments, the first was 2 months after installation when I could no longer shift at 7k rpm, the 2nd was 5 months later when it happened again, then the 3rd was about a month ago, which put me right at the end of the clutch rod - after that, it started slipping

I assume both the disk and my stock flywheel (replaced along with the clutch) are both completely destroyed.

So we can get the best estimate of what it looks like, don't slip the hell out of it before you get it out. I would wager that the pressure plate and flywheel are pretty warped which is why you needed further adjustment. We found that was true on others we tested. The travel to release was great on the bench but the warpage caused it to require more travel when spinning. When the surfaces are flat and uniform, the pressure plate is able to lift more cleanly if that makes sense.
If you don't mind, send as much data as you can with the parts since you obviously have it. What about the restrictor? Were you using it or not or for how long? Many Thanks!

Sorry, it's been slipped to death for the last week and a half, so too late for that.

No restrictor valve since the initial adjustment at the 2-month mark, which is when I also installed a SS clutch line. My power has changed dramatically since then, too. I'm probably at an extra 70whp/100wtq now.

Shipping address and shipping payment info?
