Just installed Vishniu Stage O Mods!
Wow!!!Nice numbers for the 93 octane map!!!! Thats the XEDE with 93 octane map and cat-back right? If that combo nets 55whp for $1500-1600 then you have got a real winner! Adding a DP and race cat should net even better numbers without causing any major drivability or reliability issues. Can't wait!
Thanks again!

Hi,
I really don't want to get too far ahead of myself as far as 93 octane Stage Zero hp claims go. So far, we've only tested such XEDE maps on 2 EVOs. Still need more data points in order to make a true kit claim. So far, it shows that 235-240 wheel hp is possible with than 93 octane, our cat-back and the XEDE. Still stock DP, stock cat, stock intake filter, etc,.) What this translates to in Dynojet or Dynapack hp, I don't care to guess.
FWIW, this is 40 wheel hp stronger (on our dyno, of course) than SCC's EVO press car which runs 102mph traps as tested last weekend on Palmdale. It's also 20 wheel hp lower than our Stage 2 WRX which ran 110-111mph during the same testing. Dragstrip racers can make their own conclusions of what the Stage Zero should be capable of running in the 1/4 mile. I suspect it would do pretty well considering how much harder it launches and quicker it shifts than the Stage 2 WRX. That, and its shorter gearing, should make up for some of the power deficit.
I'll leave it to the drag racer types to come up with numbers...
Cheers,
Shiv

Is 100hp ran on the wrx the same as 100hp ran with the evo on your dyno? I recall you mentioning correction factor not added to have more accurate change in wheel horsepower?
Thanks for the graph,

so 2 kits, 91 kits and then 93-94 kits for outside of CA?
why is $795 so outrangeous? have you seen the prices of the JIC exhaust? and not to change away from Vishnus kit, but how does this compare to ultimate racings stage 1 kit?

we are all winning, this is good stuff...

I have a few questions concerning with your ecu. Does it run factory closed loop under WOT? Fixed timing i'm assuming? Windows based like the U-Tec? And knock counter, data logging and etc?

It does have fixed per made map but you do have the ability to change anything you want (like load points) you can tune closed loop and open loop or just open loop. It's completely flexible.. It's not like the UTEC from TXS. The Utec is basic and primitive compared to Exed. The UTEC fires the coils on it's self and the ECU just handles the cold start and other functions not really need for tuning unless your set up is complete MAP based. The Exed works with the ECU and you have all of the safety features of the factory ECU. With Utec you have to really on its safety features..
Plus the data logging is much more detailed and with the software it can be graphed for a different perspective.
Please see Vishnu's site vishnutuning.com about exed. It shows you some great screen shoots of the software.

thanks,

thanks,
It can be set any way. But with stock injectors I would think just open loop would be need.
If it's map load points then when you get full boost it takes over.

Regarding XEDE vs. UTEC. They are both very different animals. I'm in no place to say which one is inherently more primitive or advanced than the other. They are just different in their individual approaches to engine control.
As for the XEDE, it is always running. There is no point in which it turns "ON". However, until you pass through the zones in which there are fuel/timing changes, its operating in basically "pass-thru" mode (no signal alteration).
Best Regards,
Shiv
