As for the % question. When I run 100 octane I pull 4% fuel to get to 12.0:1 AFR. I was wondering how much fuel you pull when you run 114 or C16.
What do you mean by fuel? Do you mean the MAF table in the Xede? Do you pull 4% over and above what is already pulled for a 91-93 octane map? I just want to know since I also have an Xede and I want to learn more.

Yeah this is for driving around and drag racing.

Yep, that's a good rule of thumb when making a race gas map. Yank 4% fuel under boost. Zero out your timing offset map. And put 100% in your boost map. Usually worth 30-35whp over the pump gas map.

Does such a map apply for road racing? Or is this only for drag racing?

Well Shiv will tell you that his standard maps ARE open track maps.

When dyno'ing my V390 car I found them to be a bit too lean for my liking but then again I have more supporting mods than the standard V390 map was built for. To up the safety margine when road racing I usually add a few gallons of 103 octane street blaze.

My problem with the race gas map is that I'm already at 100% boost on my 93 octane map. My engine doesn't see EXTRA boost from 5000-7800 rpm. The only gains I am getting from my race gas map is a leaner AFR (4%) and zero'd timing which is about 3 degrees after 6000 rpm.

Aside from rigging up a way to run more boost how can I further exploit the race gas map?
