Will they turn up the boost during the tune?

If you do get the pump definately get it before the tune. The walbro hi-flow overruns the fuel pressure regulator and causes a rich condition under 3k. This can be corrected during the tune as well.

For a basic bolt on car + cams the stock pump is fine if tuned. But its only $89 and 15 minutes of your time to have the additional sense of security.

Exactly, do it right before the tune. Although I installed mine way before my tune the car still ran fine, just a bit rich. The tune will help compensate for that and make everything run perfect, 90 bucks is cheap insurance for somthing like that.
