Id take a guess of 150 Fareheit.

Best bet would be to use a thermonmeter i guess.

I dont think its that high when the hood is popped. Just put a thermometer there for a few minutes and you ll know for sure.

Underhood temperatures are at their highest when the car is idling at a stop. Once the car starts moving from a stop, underhood temperatures drop. In my Taurus SHO, we found that underhood temps approached ambient once the car reached ~30mph (~50kmh).

what part of the engine bay?, sounds like you want to install something. the front head light area =cool, try touching the tower bar after a hard run, pretty hot, the block, hotter still.
if you need to install somerthing the coolest area would be the drivers side area under the headlight. I am guessing it will never see 150+, untill you have a thermal event.

Amb. Temps / Water hose area near bov / Air Box-Headlight area

30 / 58 / 35
37 / 63 / 43
42 / 68 / 49
44 / 72 / 50

I measured this a while back, temps are in celsius, used an exposed junction k-type thermal couple

temps were measured when traveling ~35mph
