IX Exhaust help

Well I made my first mistake of ordering a Perrin exhaust that only fit the VIII thinking that It would work with my 06 IX....Well turns out the gasket and piping were off just slightly. Anyway I was wondering would this exhaust bolt up fine to the IX because i read somewhere before that the hangers dont line up or somthing....HKS Exhaust Also if that doesnt work what would I have to do to get the hks to work and also do they make the Perrin for the new IX's ?

What I was also thinking of doing was just buying a cat from like an 05 and that should line up with the exhaust ... Has anyone tried putting an older cat on a 06 IX ?

i have the hks cf/ti on my 9 mr, it fits perfect, but i had to adjust the band a bit since it came off an 8, so im not sure if it fits because the hangars arent stationary like some other ones, hope this is clear

Neither of those exhausts are recommended. The hi-power is less than 3" and is only a cat-back. The Magnaflow...well, not sure why anyone would want a MAgnaflow exhaust on an Evo. Stick with the known commodities like Buschur, AMS, Megan, whatever...

I just insatlled it on my evo 9 mr.
There is absolutley no fitment problems on mine.
It even came with a o2 sensor cap and everything lined up great.

I really dont know why you had issues with fitment.

I've heard mixed reviews regarding the Hi-Power fitting on the IX properly or not. I ordered the Hi-Power for my IX though and will be installing it sometime within the next week. I'll let you know how that goes. I'm getting an RRE HFC though so I don't know if that will change how the cat-back lines up.
