So there's no real filter for the left hand pickup?

The pump is on the left, and the car uses a saddle tank. the pump has a pickup for both sides of the tank. Why is the filter only on the right hand side?

The fuelpump has the sock filter and the other side has the small fuel filter. Both filter.

The actual fuel filter is really small and pretty much constructed like the fuel sock but in a different shape. It's really small, its about 2"x1". I have a new one sitting in my garage. I can try to remember to take a photo.

It costs $6.03 : part number MB129895

Guys. Problem FIXED! It wasnt anything that deals with fuel. Not the pump, filters, lines. or anything. There is a screw on the top of the throttle body that controls how much air comes in while idling. Well I adjusted this screw before and it came and bit me in the ***. The screw was super lose I guess from me and the vibrations made it come lose. Car runs like normal now matter of fact it idles just like stock I did change the filter on the pump early last week and it didnt help nothing, but it was dirty! Thanks for all of you guys help.

so which way did you turn the screw to? FYI, if you turn it counter clock wise it will make your RPM Higher.

I'm asking you this because if you did turn it counter clock wise then you're just masking the problem, therefore you haven't fix the problem

He said he had adjusted the screw before and when he checked it this time it was loose. The screw was the problem. His idle was adjusted too low.

The looser it gets (turning it counter clock wise) the higher the rpm/idle will raise. If you tightened it (turning it Clock wise) it will bring the idle/ rpm lower.

That's what the problem was, the screw either came loose and began turning clockwise (threadlock lost adhesion) or it was inadvertently turned clockwise manually.
