Best bang for the buck intercooler piping?
Upper IC pipes that go over the MAF/turbo inlet pipe look stupid
Seriously there is no "bang for the buck" with IC pipes... they don't make power, there, just there, as long as they don't leak and stay on.
IMO the only reason to change from stock is to plumb different BOVs, ICs or looks. However, if your willing to re-locate the battery or go small, you can shorten the path from the IC to TB by a foot or so with some set-ups... (under the MAF pipe)
Some argue throttle response is improved as hard pipes don't "balloon" like the stockers, but I can't imagine it being even measurable.
