Not to take anything away from the great achievement but it seems that, this mustang dyno is reading more like a dyno jet Mustangs usually at 500whp using the x1.2 correction equates to 600whp DJ power the only way to find out the real reading is a trap speed, and to see weather it traps 130+ or if it traps 140+ with this turbo it would take a built motor and 36+psi to hit 600whp on a lower reading mustang dyno/

Yeah that sounds about right we get 125+traps here at just about 450+whp if you use the x1.2 correction its right about at the whp you made at ttp. But at the end of the day its just dyno number anyway it's meant to be used as a tuning tool. Its weird cause in terms of dyno readings we feel like where in a different world because all of the Mustang Dynos and DynoDynamics Dyno's in our area tend to read + or - 3whp from each other.

There is no correction factor used on our dyno. There is whp and tq and there is weather corrected reading also. The weather corrected numbers are higher in the hot summer and lower in the cold winter based on the average temps used for the WEATHER correction factor of 77*F.

Trapping 126 is around 430-470 on a proper "low-reading" "heart-breaker" whatever the cool kids are calling it this week Mustang dyno.

I trapped 126.2 boucing the 8k limiter about 4 cars before the traps with 481 uncorrected MD WHP. 600 WHP on a "Low Reading" MD is a 140 trap. and 557 should be mid 130s.

I dont want to be misunderstood tho. 600 whp on any dyno is impressive with a stock head or block.

What did your car trap in the 1/8?

99s with a best of 99.8. It was also warmer at the track then at the dyno aswell.

The only item taken out of my car is the spare. It has the front and rear crash beams A/C and all. 235/40/18 advans on OZ ultraleggeras with -2.5 camber in the front and 1.8 in the rear.

The best 60 of the day was a 1.82 blowing all 4 off the line and the 1-2 shift.
I think I would be 130 if I raised the rev limiter over 8k. Its not a drag car. I just went for fun. I have a DSM to break if thats what I want to do.

on a low reading dyno I made 545awhp on a dynodynamics and trapped 135mph. I think 600awhp stock engine on a mustang dyno is not reading like a typical lower reading dyno...
Either way who cars what it makes, lets see what it runs at the track!!
