At least more than 2 years since I've been running my 03 evo with 530whp for more than 2 years. Yes! I went to drag strips almost monthly and running around on SoCal freeway every weekend. Just make sure you get a good tune (mine is Tuning Tech) and monitor the car's condition (i'm using Zeitronix).

The stock bottom end is VERY stout. Remember that a vendors advice or building a block or stroking it no matter how nobel is still based off of making an income. The OEM block is also built to very tight tolerances with precise industrial machinery.

I seriously doubt that any aftermarket block (Baring the stupid expensive Cosworth/JUN blocks) would meet the tolerances of an OEM block and be more likely to spin a bearing or break apart. I simple search shows more aftermarket blocks blowing up vs OEM but then again they always try to run more WHP.

IDK, the OEM block is amazing, that's for sure.

Those are some nice numbers for a stock block. I cant wait to see some 700whp freaks. I think a small shot of nitrous might help out a little

700WHP would not work on a stock block, If you want confetti go for that I guess...

Thanks for adding our Dyno chart to the list! We hope to keep pushing the envelope and disclose any information good or bad that we might come across!

Wrong, I have done several flashes over 520hp both evo8 and 9 on stock block, but what is a record anyway.

I made 515hp and 423tq on 100oct at 32 psi thanks to Sean. I'm sure he could have gotten even better numbers if I ran some higher octane but I don't want to use unleaded. I do admit that I normaly run 28psi that comes out to 480-490hp, that's more than enough power on the street. Not to mention the car runs great, no problems. Sean is the man
