Please Help me figure this out!!

To start off I own an 04' RS with 40,000 miles. Ok so last night (after letting a friend drive my car in exachange to drive his exige) I started having problems. I hit a hairpin at about 35-40 which my car can usually handle but the back slipped out nasty and I almost hit the wall.... Than while on the freeway I hit boost but than it felt like boost and power was dropping out. Almost like the car could not figure out how to put power down. No check engine lights so it leads me to believe it is something with the tranny? Maybe Transfer case or differentials? Someone please help me figure out what this could be.... I am confused as hell!!

No ACD but it happened a second time I went around a corner as well... and the power dropping out has never happened before... it really feels like the car is struggling to put power down..

he drives a lotus exige... but he just bought it and is new to stick.... I never let anyone drive my car but I wanted to smash the exige... he told me he had a few really nasty downshifts were he did not rev match and just let it buck badly.... he was being honest with me at least... but yeah my tires are bad.... I will try resetting my ECU to see if it fixes the power problem... Id me much happier if that got cleared up...

This is the main reason NOONE but me gets behind the wheel.
Even if he didn't rev match, it would'nt cause "bucking". It would just cause the rpms to go up as you let the clutch out instead of before.
You sure he didn't say nasty launches instead of downshifts?

well I guess not necessarily bucking.... but you know if your driving hard and your going to downshift and you dont rev match and you just shove it in gear and dump the clutch that nasty feeling you get... thats what he has explained to me he did...He was behind me the whole time there was no launching... I guess just horrible clutch work...clutch is fine though....thats why im confused.... most clutches would go out before anything in your tranny...

40,000 miles and you never changed the fluids!? Hrmmmm you might want to consider doing that ASAP. Also, make sure there are no boost leaks or anything, maybe he popped off something on the intake tract. How did you like the lotus?
