Automatic Evo

Has it been done before? Does anyone know even where to start/call to get a build like this going?

I could see it if someone was paralized and needed hand controls.

getting an auto in an Evo is like a V6 in a Mustang or Camaro

I can't see anyone that has bought an evo making it into an auto, it just wouldn't make sense in my eyes. But if I were to do it I would look into bying a GTA transmition from japan with all the parts needed for the swap.

definitely a NO-NO. not everyone should be driving an evo...too dangerous. i mean if they want it so bad...how hard is it to learn manual?

anyways the Automatic EVO i know is the Evos from GT3, GT4, NFS 1, 2 & Most Wanted. no such thing in reality.

What I would do if you are seriously trying to convert that to auto is to contact Eric at AMS and see who he had build his auto trans for his drag talon.

I hope you are building this to race and not daily drive, why add another $4-7 for an auto trans in an already expensive car???
