isnt the stock already a 2.5 inch? whats the advantage to switch your 2.5?

i am basically trying to buy the JUN BL CBE. will your 3inch dp and 3inch hfc work with it?

Yes, our downpipe/cat/offroad pipe work with the JunBL. The 2.5" downpipe is a little larger than stock and has less bends that are also smoother. We use the 2.5" downpipes on the BR330-BR350 cars.

mr buschur could you please explain why it is a bad idea from a technical point of view?will it reduce gas flow and maybe damage your motor?

Um, because its a 3" pipe and flange connected to a 2.5" hole. Its a stupid idea. Work from the tailpipe forward in upgrading the exhaust.

Running a larger diameter pipe directly up to a smaller sized hole/tube is a horrible idea for flow. It will actually make less power than using a 2.5" downpipe in the case of hooking it to the stock cat.

A friend of mine told me that it is better to match everything together. He means that if your cat-back is 3", try to buy 3" dp and 3" test pipe.

Some of the vendor here told me that with 3" dp, some rattle sounds will be heard caused by the dp rubbing the oil pan. How true is that?

I am planing to buy a DP and Test Pipe for my Greedy TI.

Any help is appreciated here. Thank you.

obviously, like already stated here, you don't want to run a 3" dp into a 2.5" test pipe or cat.

Yes, I am aware of that. Just want to clear things up, would 3" DP of any brand cause rattle in anyway? I am thinking to go for Megan Racing because of the reviews and the price.
