So far the Tanabe 2.75" and Blitz 2.75" downpipe fit the best for EVO IX. zero clearance issues, great results on-street or on-dyno. test proven!

Thanks

hmm, maybe i got mine from the batch of good ones? my espelir dp fits like a glove, doesnt hit acd or tie bars, and mates to my UR test pipe perfectly...i was also looking at the tanabe, but 6 months ago when i was doing the install for my tune, literally NO ONE had the tanabe, all were on backorder. The tanabe is a nice piece and has perfect fitment like my espelir, cant go wrong with either. Ive seen the blitz as well, and the flex section is def nice

Yah I know my name has jdm in it....that's because I usually buy jdm brands.....but thats only when the parts are much better in craftsmanship and quality......just like for my integra....I have Carbing bars on my integra and they were expensive as ****....but i dont mind because the quality can not be matched....

Now for the evo.....I realize that there are domestic companies turning out better products for cheaper and not only that this is a performance part and I would like to be able to talk to someone if something should not fit right.....

My experience with jdm companies is that they dont care about us customers too much....that and my japanese is pretty rough

So yah....just because it says jdm in my name....doesnt mean I'm gonna pay twice as much for a worse product with a Fuc%ing JASMA sticker on it

As far as DP is concerned.....I want these things out of it:

-good fitment
-good performance
-good quality/craftsmanship/welds
-good customer service should I need it

I just got my espelir, however the rest of my exhaust won't be here until Friday. I must say the piece looks great and I hope I dont have any fitment issues.

My only complaint is lancershop list it as a 3" downpipe. It is not. It is about 2.5" on both ends. It may end up being 3" somewhere in the middle, but its inner diamter on both ends is 2.5". I guess that is why it retains the factory donut gasket.

+1. I have no issues with mine what-so-ever. Only problem I had with mine was when I got it, i installed it with a catback, but my testpipe did'nt come in yet, so I just had those two parts on. I guess the cat was so heavy, my downpipe rattled on the tie bar... but once i put my testpipe in, it did'nt rattle anymore and it clears it just fine.

The RMR with the K brace is very nice. It cleared everything with about a 1.5cm gap between acd and oil pan. Also it allows you to reuse the stock spring bolts which is pretty nice.
