that's a bit pricey! to me, the tanabe unit seems to be a good piece. blitz is nice because of the flex pipe, but it doesn't look like it utilizes the OE doughnut gasket at the 02 housing. i'm still waiting for the megan 05+ downpipe to come out.

i just put tanabe on this week and it fits great no clearance issues like the DC Downpipe but i had an MR so it was touching the transfer case but other than that the DC Sport one i pretty good to

There is no difference between the RS, GSR or MR transfer case whether a 2005 or 2006 model.

i asked gruppe-s before and they said it has fitment issues on my 05 MR so it will have issues on the IX. they reccommend helix V2 or tanabe.

i think people are posting up their rave reviews and not giving what year their evo is. go back and edit your posts.

additionally, something i never see mentioned is the weight of the downpipe. i only mention this because i think it's important and also because it's never been brought up.

i know the helix is very chunky and the meagan is really light.

Actually the Helix V2 is about 2lbs lighter than the V1 as they are running a thinner tube wall than the V1's.

so what is the advantage of a 3 in. over a 2.75?? when is the the new meagan downpipe out??. I have read all the posts and havent found to many answers to the orriginal post
