Best downpipe on a IX??? Fitment/quality/craftsmanship/performance

IF you are sticking with the stock cat then use a 2.5" downpipe, otherwise, go with 3".

Incidently Helix V2 downpipes and test pipes in stock.
As for more torque, more torque is achievable by by pushing more boost pressure. Cars with superiour boost management systems (for example an AVC-R) will have better boost curves and thus torque curves than a manual boost controller. For this reason, comparing a 2.75" to a 3.0" on separate cars with separate setups is comparing apples to oranges.

If and when the motor mounts start to sag get a Cusco V2 brace or some spacers. If you happen to find a 2.75" for cheap or your buddy gives you one, go for it!

We have 25, 3" mandrel bent, robotic tig welded, stainless steel polished units in stock for $165 shipped. While others are taking the opportunity to plug their products, we might as well also.

Real quick question. Are we talking peak power here or are you saying that a 3" DP will make more power throughout the entire RPM range? Let's assume a 3" exhaust from the DP back. Also assume no tune, or a tune without increasing boost.
I'm trying to figure out if a 3" DP will sacrifice ANY low end TQ to a smaller DP.
Thanks!

highly recommended!!!!!!
