ACT clutch & gear lock in

i have had my act clutch in for a about a month now so i broke it in properly. so this is my problem when im wot my tranny likes to stick in the gear but it only happens after 6,000 rpm i think i might be because i need more tranny fluid but im not sure so if anyone has any ideas on why my car is doing this i would greatly appreciate it thanks.

Here...for lock-in -- check fluid level and for burning (smell and color), if the fluid is dark or smells burnt then you could be have a toasted tranny.

Or your clutch slave cyl. is going. This causes poor fluid pressure, and will not allow changing of gears.

For adjusting to go:

I think what he is describing might be different than the usual gear lock out. Nothing in that link talks about what the original poster is asking about.

Mine will also stick in gear at high rpm, only in first, and only if I lift. When I no lift shift at the track it releases the gear just fine. I'm not sure what is causing this.

I think this is a problem with ACT clutchs. Get rid of it and get another clutch.
Warrtalon had a huge write up on this, do a search there were like 15+ pages on it, and the bottom line was that ACT or any type of oragantic clutch sucks... My stock clutch gets 7k lock out, when it gets hot.
