i just got my tranny rebioult and a new act clutch 6 pad spring disk with a used act heavy duty pressure plate and when ifirst take of in 1st gear there is alot of vibration coming from tranny .wen i get the car rolling it stops vibrating is this a normal thing with these clutches? also if im going over a speed bump and shift back into first wen car is rolling it dosent vibrate.

 

sounds like clutch chatter 6pucks do this more then others it should quiet up in a few hundred miles

 

yea it just vibrates really bad anoying in traffic shakes the hole car lol

 

ya try to dump it at a little higher rpm insted of slipping it slowly helps on my 6puck

 

did that i dump it at about 2k rpm slowely for it not to vibrate car

 

How many miles on it and did you get the flywheel resurfaced? Also if you dont you should get SS full clutch lines and remove the restricter pill in the slave cylinder give you move precise control and feel of the clutch engagement .

 

so far only have 200 miles on clutch and tranny and flyywheel was resurfaced

 

Give it time it should smooth out.

 

Need help I just install a new act 6 puck clutch in my evo 8 but it feel like the clutch is slipping.
