In CA, you HAVE smog the car before selling it to anyone unless you are trading it in. And they even check things like that at the dealer

We do have 93 octane, and we definitely still have smog laws.

You'll have to smog test when you register the car in CA (time may vary based on year model and county/state laws).

My hometown has no smog testing, but I moved to Atlanta where you have to do it every 2 years. They do the computer testing here as well ... just keep the CEL off.

WOOT! Thank god i live in FL. I get 93 octane everywhere I go. Theres 3 gas stations within a 10 mile radius of my house that sell race gas 2 of which are 100 octane and one is 110. And no SMOG ****. Cops dont care whats done to your car.. as long as your not speeding TOO fast. Been pulled over 11 times and no tickets!!!!!

Gotta love FL!

I heard that you can take a car that has the same amount of cylinders and same make go to inspection with your Evo's registration and have that inspected and then put the sticker on your evo. This has been done alot of times by people around here but i personally never had to get inspected yet.

most states go by VIN, so I would highly recommend against the above.

huh? I'm sure they'll check your VIN #'s and stuff like that. What do you mean by inspected? Do you mean Smog check?
