35K miles, 2nd clutch, and still shifts as good as new. daily driven(spirited at times) and drag/road raced a few times a year. this is the crappy 6-speed as well, works fine for me though. i use 75-85 GL-4(exact factory equivilent)fully synthetic castrol syntorq LT, changed every 10K.

'03 GSR here with 38k miles. Has some issues (at ~20k miles) with the tranny I assumed were synchros and took it in for the typical rebuild only to be told the stock clutch was out of adjustment. The tech did a nice adjustment job and things have been better (not perfect) since. (Felt like butter after the 30k service with all the fluids changed).

All that being said...I will probably have the tranny/TC rebuilt when I have the clutch replaced in the near future.

I don't wail on the car as it is my daily driver but I have enjoyed using it for its intended purpose of "spirited driving".
