it dont matter how much money u make cuz why spend that much if you can get the same for cheaper ?? doesnt make sense. its like going to the car dealer and not trying to negotiate for a better price. its commen sense to try to spend as little money as possible and save as much as possible.

Kid, you're one hell of an embarrassment to the evo community. Do everyone a favor and shut the hell up already with your ebonics. Kids like you give evo owners a bad rap.

If you think $750 for a reflash is a good deal you're not very intelligent. There are plenty of highly rated tuners that will do a custom tune for far less than this.

Why not? All reflashes are free and your basically paying for the license. I still dont understand why anyone would want a "road" tune when a dyno tune offers considerably better/safer results because of the controlled environment. I rather pay the extra few hundred $ for someone who actually knows what they are doing (Shiv). How many factory test cars does Mitsu, Mazda, etc give to other local tooners to have their way with?

So have fun with the $90 tactrix cable and $25 software, because now that everyone is now a full-fledged EFI tuner you can take your car anywhere to get tooned! Make sure to print out todays coupons too!

Dude, stop right now and don't even THINK about modding. THank your lucky stars that your mom doesn't know any better than to give a $35k supercar to a teenanger in California and leave it the hell alone. I can't believe some people.
lol im only 17 but i paid for my downpayment and my monthly parents cover insurance and i got a job at best buy to pay for all this plus mods soo..... its all good he just needs a job

I was talking to Al @ Dynoflash, and he mentioned that an MBC isn't necessary for the IX's, because the reflash sets the boost @ 22 ~ 23 psi! My boost peaks @ 1.55 after his reflash, which is ~ = 22.8. Why would you want an MBC, unless you're turning it up to 25 or 26 and throwing on a fuel pump..., but can't you set the boost that high on the flash (but matching that with the proper intake & exhaust and fuel setup...)

I already hit 12.87 stock, now I'm in the low 12's without any other mods yet, but a TBE, drop-in is on the way, and probably will get me into the 11's like some other IX's did with just those MODS, not using an MBC. Of course, i'll get a reflash with the TBE, but i'm not using any MBC.

Are you kidding? A road Tune is FAR better then any dyno tune, how could you even say that? Especially I Dyno Jet which can only measure WOT and basically one fuel map, again, WOT, can't do part throttle, no highway speed air hitting the car, all fluids heating up, I mean you can't be serious. A Dyno isn't even close to a Road tune, no Dyno can load the car up properly like the Road can; well a Mustang is closer but NOTHING beats a road tune.

your mom bought you the car. IT is a great car in stock form. Respect your mom and leave it stock if she wants it to be that way. She pays the bills, shes decides what happens to the car.
