Yes, Curt ran 10.50 at 128 mph on the stock turbo in a much lighter car, really makes you wonder how a car 600 pounds heavier out MPH's a guy like Curt

Actually, the second pump is for Salami because I was watching on Myth Busters that you can make a salami rocket, so TTP is probably making a salami injection kit.

I can't wait to order mine...

I was actually thinking he may have cracked open his computer and taken some of the comcast high speed out and that was what it was used for.

It is interesting how rarely brought up CBRE's use of alternative fuel is and was. It was explained to us that we are under closer scrutiny only because we are a vendor. After thinking about that for a while we started to begin to understand what the big fuss is about.

We like to think of ourselves as just another enthusiast that enjoys the excitement of the Evo like the rest. Love wrenching on the car, racing, creating ear to ear grins in building and tuning them.

Fortunately or unfortunately Evom is a national site with a global audiance. Those members that do not know us on a personal level may enter our threads a bit guarded. We are sorry for that and hope to grow on everyone in due time. I think our greatest fault over the last two years is bringing our personal emotion into what should be a professional posting style. For that we apologize as it has created both fans and enemies in the process.

I think it is safe to say that everyone that has done actual business with us has left happy and content with their products and services and that is what our goal is professionally.

Congrats Scott. That time kicks.

For all the naysayers I have one thing to say. SHUT IT! If the man is currently developing new products to make us go faster then that is a good thing. He said it isn't nitrous so it isn't. Don't be suprised if you see nitro kits or some such come onto the market in the coming months. Innovation. It is what makes us go faster and what drives us to perform better and is the bottom line in the sports car life. If people didn't innovate there would be no race circuits worth watching... It would be old school nascar 24/7.

So what if you don't have all of the facts right now. If you want to be a little whiny *** and talk smack about the man then why don't you bust out with a calculator, get some draft paper, maybe autocad, and come up with something better yourself or get back on the bench.

I can't stand it when people get on the bandstand and point fingers and say such and such combination doesn't work... Or that isn't possible... Blah Blah Blah... It was the same thing when the new 20g was in the works a couple months ago and it is tiring.

It all will come out in the wash anyway.

Just to add a few points: When I bought CB's turbo kit off the 10.50 pass he had a few interesting things to say.

1. He felt the 2.1 was SLOWER then the 2.0 he put in after he launched the 2.1. when he had the 35r on a 2.0 verse a 2.1 it made 50+hp then the 2.1. Add a few more hp to the 128 pass and he is pretty close to TPP mph.

2. CB and I talked about car weight and it seems like his car was around 100lbs lighter then mine (3080 with me in it). I have a RS with all the normal weight removal IE: bumper bars, light wheel tire combo, battery kit, and the spare tire kit. If this is true then Cb's car was around 2890lbs or so.

3. CB did say he used C-16 in his car. He may use something else on top of it but he never mentioned it.

4. I had already bought and paid for the turbo from CB and he really felt I should at least try it before I went to a bigger turbo. His point was " I might be shocked at how fast it is with the "stock" turbo""

5. CB felt he could have gone a few tenth quicker on the stocker, that would put him pretty close to above 129 or so.

All I am doing is trying to add a few facts to the case, not choose sides

What alternative fuel was Curt supposedely using? I tuned the car each time it set a record, the 10.5 on stock turbo, the 10.5 on the LT, the 9.3 on the 35r and the 9.3 on the 37r, all tuned by me. I'd like to know what fuel I was tuning as far as I know he had C16 in it. No alky and certainly no nitrous.

I think it was implying running nitro/meth blend in the alky injection, but I don't recall him using alky injection.

I don't forsee nitromethane ever becoming a popular mod because tuning is very hard because it can make the car very very lean with too much nitromethane in the mix, it certainly has great benefits, I will have dynographs of it shortly...
