I was thinking of trying some with my 50/50 methanol/water mix. I've just been a little hesitant of actually trying it. I'll PM you with some questions.

Actually if the pump fails on nitro injection you would just go rich. It is more like nitrous and less like fuel... And as far as it mixing with gas, check out VP Import...

yea the problem isn't the afr, its the amount of timing and boost you would have increased to because of the lack of detonation...

and congrats to him, i saw his record being done in person. I seen his car, whats under the hood, and all he's running is meth. Come on guys, this guy spends days upon days tuning his car just right for this type of performance..

There is no other tuner out there better than Scott.
I 2nd Jestr, great guy and great tuner

There is NO NITROUS in TTP's MR.
Plain and simple.
we stopped argueing a couple pages back, we all know the car isn't on just methanol injection so stop with the lying there, no tuning alone can get those results...either way lets move on...

Havent used it myself but good for some whp for sure, expect it to lean the A:F - think of it as concentrated liquid air

It's powered by coffee beans that have been eaten and defecated out by a civet cat.

TTP Engineering,
Are you running E85? I've heard from good sources that testing E85 picked up near 30whp over C16 @ 30psi on a 500whp car.

Im just saying...it is an available fuel source that does make more power than pump and or race gas...and could explain his "seemingly high trap speed" It would make more sense to me than anything else.

i am only continuing the e85 conversation.... but it can be made in your garage.

i can attest to scott. he eats, sleeps(not much) and breathes the 4g63. he is constantly messing with something(his car or something else).

i personally witnessed him grinning ear to ear changing cam gear settings on customers cars the day he figured out his magical settings. all of those cars ran great that day, including a couple of personal bests.

i dont understand why people cannot comprehend that he may have figured something new out in tuning to gain an additional 30-50whp. thats a 5-10 percent increase, nothing impossible

keep in mind he is also a great driver. if i was driving it(besides being 100 lbs heavier) i am sure it would run a full second slower
