wondering if you could post your dyno plot of your latest setup that ran the ~130mph?

Doubt you will get one. He has already stated the car hasn't seen the dyno since the 405hp graph. If there was one it would be over 500.

I have a feeling no dyno is shown because there is a something he doesn't want to show, whatever he is doing to make power is great though and if its nitrous he is spraying 1st through 4th because he has a killer 8th mile time...

Abner,

I think he would never reveal his recipe of maps, it is very understandable. After all he worked really hard to get were he is.

Changing the subject, I will be in San Antonio for 3 weeks, expect me to see you this Christmass.

Carlos

The problem with me and dynos is that the stellar tuned drag pass would perform differently on a one gear pull. A 4th gear pull on the dyno would run over 35psi and is a different condition than what would be encountered in the pass that would barely touch 30psi.

Maybe if we get a Dyno Dynamics in the area with drag racing module, we would be able to gather figures from its log. I am assuming it can calculate whp and tq during that type of pull. SNR in Tampa is almost done with their unit. Might think about visiting that location.

For now. I am considering sharing my datalogs with MalibuJack and see if he can reconstruct figures using datalog lab.

There are always going to be rumors flying around the internet about so and so's configuration and how they put their car together. We don't have the time or stamina to respond to every thread where someone claims this or that or the other and try and correct them. Even when we do it is never sufficient. What I will do is share some of the changes that have taken place since 11.24 @ 123.71 and 127.62mph on stock motor and head include the following:

Replaced HKS Dli-II
Replaced factory coils
Supertech black nitrided valves (stock size)
Supertech double springs
Supertech Ti retainers
Supertech Ti seats
Supertech small valve seals
valve job
decked head
GReddy 1.2mm HG
Forged Pistons
Upgraded rods
Clevitte 77 bearings
Gates Tbelt
Gates Balance shaft belt
retained bal shafts
Changed camgears
Removed HKS 280 280
Installed GSC EVO 8 280 280 Camshafts
Added ATi Super Damper
Removed Ati Superdamper
Replaced with Fluidampr
2 stock turbos replaced since, latest has 4300mi on it
Forge WGA- non-piston version
Ceramic coated hotside
Ceramic coated tubular header
Ceramic coated compressor housing
Ceramic coated TTP O2 housing
replaced ceram header due to cracks
Stock manifold with mild porting
750cc injectors (probably not necessary, but was trying to locate a sputter)
Recirc Type S GReddy CBV
Added MAF sensor back on
Retuned ECUflash Reflash
*Evoscan is able to be used this time around as it was not available back when 11.24 and 127mph was achieved.

The MR is equipped with stock 5sp 2005 trans, stock ACD TC and stock rear differential. ACT MB7-XTSS street disc on stock resurfaced flywheel. (Not recommended for quick shifting, high revving, low E.T.'s)

Carbonetics triple carbon is on its way for testing.

ProccoEvo locally has run 10.40 @ 140mph on Carbonetics twin carbon so good things are expected.

Update: The DLI-II is being replaced yet again with our coil on plug setup. The ignition is becoming hit or miss. Someone wanted our prototype and could not live without it which is why we went to DLI-II to test.

Never had a misfire on the COP setup and MUCH larger gaps could be run on the plugs.

Misfiring like crazy weds. Flaming mad... Drove to Advance and passed by the strip.

Asked for BPR7es- out of stock. Asked for BPR8es- out of stock. Asked for BR8es, had those in stock so used them.

Had to buy $40 in tools to change the 35mi old plugs out. Still misfired a bit after that.

1st pass misfired in 1/8th, then TTP meth injection lean AFR safeguard triggered in the back half and auto richened fuel/cut boost + was WOT off the limiter at 8000rpms across the traps at 124.xx.

Adjusted fueling as not to trigger the safeguard. Bumped limiter to 8500rpms.

10.96 @ 129.87mph with no misfires and 8500rpms across the traps first run after that.
