Please give me your opinions on this pictures of my transfercase!

i posted a while back that i thought my transfercase was evaporating its oil due to the downpipe being so close to it so i know wraped up my downpipe to see what results i get! check this past thread:https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=237867

i dont have leaks on my transfer case but i took some pictures of it cause i see a dark spot on it look at the picks and tell me what you guys think thanks !

looks to me like it is sweating oil from somewere you think it might be the 2 little o-rings between the case and tranny causing the problem...

Can't tell from picture but is it leaking between tansfer and tranny?

If so, then was your clutch changed before this ordeal?

If so then maybe the tine O-ring got pinched and is leaking

Is the fluid stinky or not unpleasant in smell?

this will tell you if its tranny or tranfer oil and if the seal is leaking

what i did today is that i re-tighten the bolts of the transfercase my mecanic told me that this part of it doesnt unite with the gearbox cause if a change my clutch this part of the transfercase doesnt dissamble its completly on the transfercase
what i need to know is if the transfercase has a gasket of anykind in it??
do you guys think i should wait for the leak to become bigger or do i procced to change something on it?

If it is leaking onto to the downpipe it will absorb the oil and then after starting and driving the car it will burn off the oil (thereby causing a sulfur smell). Each time you drive the car it will do the same thing. At least that is what happened to me. MY 2 cents.

Pull the t-case and replace the two o-rings that seal the t-case to the tranny.

I totally agree.....
Same thing happened with my transfer case but mine was worst...The oil wasnt lasting 5 minutes reason being O-rings were gone and all the oil was going in to the tranny...
