If you have a good relationship with your dealership, they will probably remove the thing for you out on the lot.

If you don't have a good relationship with them, go in and tell them that the antenna was installed incorrectly on your car. Because it is supposed to be a removable item.....but it will not come off.

If the dealer wouldn't remove it for you, then you can show them in the owner manual states that you are supposed to be able to unscrew the antenna (I forgot which page it was in the manual). Tell them this is a defect that you can't unscrew it, don't let them charge you for it.

If they ask, tell them that some ******* cut it off and that's why you're trying to replace it

Hey guys......i was with him when we got it. My antenna came off with little effort but his just spins counter-clockwise like something is broken inside. During PDI they stick antennas on our cars. I have a gut feeling whoever put it on didnt align the threads right and forced it in. The screw doesnt spin but the rubber antenna does which leads me to believe that the bond between the rubber/plastic and the actual screw is broken and it just spins around. We tried everything from pliers to pulling on it while turning and nothing worked. The local dealer thought it would be a good idea to cut open his antenna to see if something broke but after they did that they told us they wouldnt warranty it. Thank God the dealer Chase bought his at took responsibility for putting it on wrong...

BTW....S2K antenna looks amazing...pics soon.
