I already promised someone I would buy their evo9 turbo. It wouldn't be cool to leave him high and dry. I guess I/we will do some testing with this turbo, and then do the "green" and some other stuff as my winter project. We can compare/contrast those turbos, that would be cool. I got to get the car out on the road ASAP. Dave and the folks at Buschur Racing have their hands tied behind their backs. (Jarrod does, just because he likes it ) I know there has to be a huge back log on getting these in, and for that, I blame nobody. I will keep you posted. Talk to you soon Chris.

gotcha, FP quoted me a month on the outright purchase but I wouldn't be surprised if they started slipping on time. I'll call for an update next week, I hate to hammer them about something they can't speed up.

If you want to wait on the turbo let me know, I have it ready to go but can hold off if you want.

JMB, I want to DOMINATE on the streets (MEXICO ONLY ) autox courses, plus be able to snap off some 11 second runs in the 1/4 mile, and still do well on the road courses. I think this (Green, is the beast to do that with) I will have the turbo on the car this weekend (Thanks 4ring), and hopefully get a cyber tune by Mellon, and then strap it on a local AWD dyno, and post some numbers/graphs. Off to the track the following Tuesday for some Drag videos. I am getting ready to make a TV commercial for WWIV, so need to be mobile ASAP! Once the Green comes in, I will get that on. (Looking as winter project for that). BUT I would like to see how the STOCK Evo9 turbo compares. STOCK evo9 turbo is going on this weekend, so that will be the first report I do. And I think I will leave that writeup here, as opposed to starting a new thread. Stay tuned.

I can't wait to see your results when tuned! Do you have same or close mods as me? We can compare side by side the graphs. I know you will have a nicer graph, but "how close" will they be????????????? Will be cool to compare.

mods are
2.3 stroker RRE
hks 272/272
ported mani,o2 housing, and turbo
niese fmic
ams licp
MBC
cam gears
k&N drop in
720 injectors
ported tb 65mm
vishni TBE
ebay o2 housing

thats about it. Im not running meth and it will be 91oct on the ecu flash.

The turbo install was okay. I have never installed a turbo before and did the install without instructions and help.

dont waste your maney and the install kit. I found everything i needed for $90 shipped alond with with manifold and both gaskets for the turbo and 02 housing.

NICE set of mods! Put your dyno graph here when you get done, we want to see it! You will have a beast, for sure. I am NOT running Meth anymore, but have the 93 octane gas out here. The turbo I am puting on has the megan O2 housing I believe, so we are close in mods. I will keep you posted, you do the same.

Adding:
1. Buschur Cone intake (Still using MAF)
2. Forge MBC
3. Stock Evo9 turbo with Invida O2 housing
4. Mellon tune. Will report on that also.

Ditching:

1. Xede
2. Stock airbox

Again, this is my "tinkering" and getting the car back on the road, till my Green is ready to install. (Late Fall, early Winter is when I want to get that one).
Should start slapping stuff together soon. ie tomorrow.
