Which make of 272´s are you talking about? The JUN 272´s are way more radical than the Helix, GSC or HKS 272´s, in fact they(the JUN´s) feature longer effective duration than even the Revolver cams.

I was refering to your action photo, Smokester. Either you´ve got way too much WG preload or the actuator´s diaphragm is leaky.

the most likely the GSC.

for revving to 7500-8k with the 2.3 and the 20g would you want more or less duration?

2.2l + 20g would be nice, since it can do almost 10k revs.

not sure when it would start running out, but i would think the power band would keep going past where mine started to fall off. your peak may not be as high, or it may just hit it later. i just know the 20g on my revolvers ran out at 6200rpm's.

Might have to jump to a 3076R, and do the rest of this writeup over the winter. I need the car on the road (Racing season) soon, and I don't think I can wait the 1 month "+" to get the "green" in. Lots of racing to do this year yet, and I really don't want to watch the summer pass with the car on Jack-stands again. Nothing wrong with the turbo, OR the setup, OR Buschur, it is just that I had to pick a VERY popular turbo! Will keep you posted on the other setup if you care. LOL

Car is still on jackstands, got to get the car out and drive it!! So, I am buying a "used" STOCK-ish Evo9 turbo, with aftermarket O2 housing and wastegate. Should have it up and on the car this weekend. Once it is back on the jackstands over the winter, either the "Green" will be here, or I can sit down and really weigh my turbo choices out. Like the 30 series turbos, NO 50 trim or GT 35 for me. Anyway, I digress........... I will have some numbers,or stuff for you to look at real soon, and maybe some drag pass videos also. GOD, I have to get out there and do some racing!! Autox/Drag/Road course. Again, this is a short "adrelaline fix" for me till the "Green" arrives. Till later.

For those interested in this setup, I will provide a full report on that setup as well, with dyno graphs, seat of the pants feel, etc...

The turbos are huge delays..........sorry smoked. You are still #6 in line but we think we can get you a turbo on the next batch that is coming. Turbine housings are being machined now and we were told turbos are going to ship late this week.

Atleast you are getting close!

Thanks Dave, I know it's not your fault. Maybe I should hold out a bit longer? I am patient, but with all the Starbucks, it's hard sometimes to wait! I will call Jarrod today. Thanks for the fast reply. I would kick my neighbors dog SO HARD, if I put this stock evo9 turbo on, and the next week, my name is called to get your turbo.
