2.3l stroker kit
You're getting just the rotating assembly and not a shortblock? If so, I'm sure there's a local machine shop in your area that could do the boring after you give them your block. Let your fingers do the walking.

If you have a very good shop locally, you can save some shipping costs for the block and the core and have it done where you can see it progress.
However, most local shops will not have a deck plate for a 4g63, or other similar tools that make the job come out better.

The main advantage of getting a shortblock is that you have the entire bottom end properly built by a shop that knows 4g63s, do rebuilds on them regularly, and has the equipment to do it right (at least if you're dealing with most of the well known shops). The block is bored with a deck plate, etc. etc.

It's always better to get a stroker or any built motor for that matter as a complete short block. If it's done by a good shop, it should be balanced and the tolerances should be within spec.
Get the short block if possible. Or do a lot of research on the shop you choose to have assemble it.
Good luck with the build
Kyle we could help 'ya out. Where are you located? We ship engines all the time and get pretty good rates with the freight company. We do all of our work in house so you know it'll be done right. We could do just block prep or an assembled shortblock. Give us a call at 410-89-3269, make sure you mention you're from EvoM.
