Fuel cut with stock boost lines?

Well i finally got to install some parts on the IX this weekend.. I installed a catless tbe and a o2 housing, nothing else and NO mbc.. I was making some test runs to see how the car felt and i hit fuel cut in 4th gear but, this ONLY happens if i start in 3rd gear and make a pass all the way to 4th... I thought by having the stock boost lines, it would regulate the boost to not go pass the factory settings? Ive never had this problem before. Im assuming its bc i have more air flow now.

Sounds good. Why dont you buy lower and uper IC pipes just to insure you have no leaks.

Or you could just install T-bolt clamps and do a boost leak test to save a few hundred dollars.

The way its worded, you make it sound like the stock pipes leak.
If the clamps are tightened properly, they don't leak.
If it is in fact hitting fuel cut, installing parts to increase airflow even more is not going to help.

Explanation:

Then you should have noticed a slight increase in boost since the TBE install, your ECU is not ready for these changes. Fuel cut doesn't really have much to do with fuel, if your ECU is reading more airflow due to increase boost pressure it will cut fuel in an effort to prevent overboost and outboosting the stock fuel system.

Solution:
