cosworth stroker motor ?
cosworth stroker motor ?
Do you guys think that in another year or so you will still be able to buy the complete stroker motor from cosworth the one that comes with the new block and all, or do u think they will stop making it because of the X coming out....I am going to iraq in a month and when i get back i plan on buying it....I would be devastated if i couldnt get it then....reason im asking, because if not i will have to buy it sooner...thanks....
Why the Cosworth 2.2 liter stroker? Why not a 2.3 or 2.4? The more displacement the better. With higher displacement you can run larger turbos, if you are planning on that. With a 2.3 liter you can match it up to a GT3076 and get stock like boost response. With a 2.4 liter a GT35R will have close to stock like spool. Besides Cosworth is too expensive. I would suggest the AMS 2.3L shortblock, or the Brian Crower 2.4L stroker kit. JDM and UKDM cost too much for what you get. You can get the same quality for lesser price if you go the USDM route.
Good luck in Iraq by the way.

Probly not the info your looking for.. but.. If your gonna spend that much on a stroker, get JUN. Cosworth stuff for the Evo, is over priced, and over rated. They have NO real experience with the 4G63. They moved into aftermarket because their F1 motors wouldn't stay together..
So, bottom line, dont waste your money, get the JUN stroker and never question your decision.
