BW 80mm T4 Flange S400 Turbo, 87mm Turbine Wheel and 1.1AR Housing

 

Holy Jesus!

 

I was wondering what happened to this car in the last year.

 

I would definitely say out the hood for the turbo. I can provide no data on what this would do performance, but the aesthetic appeal, to me, at least is much higer.

Also, I have always been apprehensive about having a 2800 dollar turbo (maybe more in your case!) sitting 4" above the ground. I dont care HOW clean a track claims to be, if that bad boy is open and a stone find its way in there.......bye.

if you read back the turbo is only $715

 

I have no clue what you read but that is wrong. I assure you this turbo was nowhere close to $700.

That is a t6 exhaust housing that we would never spool. Mine is one of 6 that BW built for testing that they stuffed into a t4 housing......

I'd put the turbo placement based on vehicle flow data, and what area will flow the most air into the turbo, on the EVO I think it would be over the hood.

 

Well its been 4 years, its not dead tho... All the aluminum work is done, down to wiring and plumbing.

Been slowing working on little things. Blew the trans up in my supra so moneys been going towards that.
Got it down to wiring and the fuel cell. Aem boxes are mounted and switch panels in, made the fuel cell this weekend, just have to mount in the bottem and cage it.
