Im gona bypass the boost controller today and see what the wga psi reads at, that way i can determine if its the boost controller or the wga

Just spoke to John(Jestr Tuning) to ask his opinion on this and he said a tune will NOT fix it but amplify the issue.. Told me to run wastegate boost and then i can determine if its the boost controller or the wga... Im gona try to do this tonight and see what i can conclude from all this... I not only wana help myself but i also wana try to help everyone else thats having the same issue as me and want to get their cars running right

Re: tune

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

run a line from the wga to the boost source directly and see if it stops.
Yeah that's a great idea. Wonder why I didn't think of that.

Help yourself by opening your ears.

This only determines if its the boost controller or the wga thats acting up by seeing if it goes pass 23psi, it doesnt actually fix the boost creep issue... Btw from all the tuners ive spoken to here, they all told me that a tune DOESNT fix the issue but make it worse

God Miguel, how can you not understand what is being said to you.

Scott is telling you he already told you to try running wastegate pressure, and his point is that you completely ignored him.

You have no excuse for not promptly finding a solution to this when you've ignored everyone's advice.

Besides, running wastegate boost won't tell you anything about the boost controller. All you hit is the 12 PSI wastegate pressure which is exactly what should happen. The liklihood that your wastegate actuator is the problem on a brand new car, is slim to none.

We already know that the boost controller is causing you to hit higher boost levels, and it's because of the stiffer spring that's installed in it.

For Christ's sake, change the spring already like I've been telling you to do for 6 days now.

What possible purpose could there be to NOT try swapping the springs?

Why are you stubbornly refusing to do it?

If you need one, come by and pick one up. It's not like I'm going to charge you for it for crying out loud. I'll even mail it to you if you refuse to come down here and pick it up.

When you bypassed the boost controller, what psi was the wga seeing?

the spring seems to be the issue here. I myself am also experiencing this problem with my halman which ive had for the second winter now. The extreme cold that we have been getting is a big reason why we are getting creep. As someone has stated before the spring getts cold and the tension increases. I know this is true because for the last 2 days we had warmer weather and my creep issues arnt showing up.

So its has to be related to the wga then.. This is what i think the issue is, not the springs, neither the mbc but the preload on the wga.. Ive been speaking with Mike@ Forge and hes been guiding me on this and giving me some usefull info as what i can do with the wga and preload to see if it takes away the boost creep
