If you're just going to dismiss the suggestions given to you, Miguel, because you don't "think" they're worth looking at, how do you expect to resolve anything?

You're basing your diagnosis of this car on your experiences with another and you couldn't be more wrong for doing so. It's a different car with a different base setup, and a different level modifications so you need to quit comparing everything to your '05.

Recalling back to your other problems with the '05, you drove around for months with major exhaust leaks at the turbo constantly complaining that you weren't making the power you should. What do you expect when you put off fixing the known exhaust leaks?

Look and see which spring you have in the boost controller. If it's the stiff one, swap it out for the soft one.

If you don't try it, you're only prolonging finding a solution and I can't help you anymore.

C'mon Miguel!

All related to exhaust leaks and posted within 1 week of each other.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=205792
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=205518

Thank God the Moderators merged them.

I don't want to see 4 threads related to boost issues. At least keep everything in this same thread this time.

If you need a spring to try, you know it's available to you.

No one is going off topic.

I'm simply making a point that you don't listen.

In reference to the exhaust leak threads, I repeatedly asked you to stop posting new threads and we wind up with 4 because you said you "forgot" about the previous ones.

Concerning the boost controller, I told you on Friday when you called me that you needed to swap out the spring, and as is plainly evident, you've refused to listen and have dismissed the suggestion until now.

If you're not going to listen to the advice given to you, why do you ask for it?

Go get the spring, go get the tune, than come back and tell us it's all fixed. If not, than you can start on your next idea.

You are seeing the spiking for two reasons

1 ) cooler weather and 2 ) you are using a MBC. The MBC can not keep up so to speak with manifold pressure.

If you had a EBC properly calibrated you would not see this issue. If you take the MBC off you should see your stock / base boost level spike as well.

Am I the only one here that thinks theese 02 housings have QC issues with the 02 pipe meeting the exhaust on the inside?? The hole drilled on the exhaust part of the 02 housing is smaller then the hole on the wg itself most of the time and does not even appear to be in the correct place..I ported mine out when I got it because I was sure it would have creep issues the way it was when I got it..50% of the flow out of the 02 was hitting the pipe and the other 50% was clear to flow out, that should tell us something..
